A Peak Into Our Metal Booth

At our workshop, the key word is synergy. Our metalworking and fabrication department, led by fabricator Iain who joined the team in 2022, is where raw steel, aluminum, and brass become functional art.

The team specializes in cleaning, shaping, melting, joining, separating, texturing, and colouring metal. They incorporate mechanisms like gyroscopes, motors, hinges, and bearing balls into their work — whatever the design demands.

Some of our signature products include custom handrails for decks and stairways with powder coating and glass, wood, or metal inserts. We build restaurant table legs with adjustable caps to eliminate squeaking, and large-scale spiral staircases with adjustable leveling capabilities. Custom signage with CNC engraving, industrial shelving units, and cantilevers for warehouse storage round out the production work.

Everything follows our Design, Prototype, Build model. We offer CAD services to bring your idea to screen before anything gets cut. Prototypes can be developed for investor presentations or client approvals. And when production runs begin, efficiency increases with volume — larger orders qualify for better pricing.

What makes the metal booth work is its connection to everything else in the shop. The fabrication team collaborates directly with our woodworking crew to blend materials seamlessly. Pieces move from the metal booth to finishing and then to on-site assembly, all under one roof. That's the synergy — no handoffs to outside vendors, no miscommunication between shops.
