As of February 2024, Lopez Contracting is offering top-notch and bespoke concrete services. The concrete division provides comprehensive work including sidewalks and driveways, garages and carports, patios and floor toppings, pre-cast pavers with stamped and dyed finishes, custom countertops and concrete stairs, retaining and foundation walls, suspended slabs and parging, and custom finishing services.

The team specializes in highly custom concrete work, whether placing, forming, or finishing in any application or style.

Julian — nicknamed Concrete Jay — joined as the residential concrete expert. Originally from Costa Rica and raised in Kelowna, he brings decades of construction experience. His background includes work on major Victoria developments including the 28-story Townline building and projects in prestigious neighbourhoods like the Uplands and Beach Drive.

One area where we see real opportunity is combining concrete with our other capabilities. High-end artisanal concrete projects that pair concrete with live-edge wood create custom commissions that most contractors simply can't offer. That's the advantage of having concrete, carpentry, and fabrication all under one roof.

The team also offers fencing and decking services that utilize both concrete and carpentry expertise — foundations that last, structures that look good on top of them.
